Looking At Vitamin B5

The local nutrition shop is loaded with bottles and bottles of vitamins. One of the more popular items on the shelves is vitamin B5. There are many manufacturers and name brands that offer this particular vitamin, but despite the commonality of vitamin B5 on store shelves many people are completely unfamiliar with what purpose this vitamin serves. Well, in that regard, this particular vitamin is not alone. The Vitamin Quagmire People have a certain basic, baseline understanding of and their purpose and that understanding is that are helpful. Of course, different serve different purposes and because people are not entirely familiar with these purposes they will often purchase the incorrect for their particular needs or they will purchase a multivitamin that they will assume will automatically act as a “one vitamin fits all solution.” Of course, this is not necessarily true.

Then again, there are those people who look at the overwhelming choice of and simply bow out of the picture opting not to purchase any at all. This is a self defeating purpose that can be easily circumvented by merely raising one’s education and awareness level regarding what exactly specific do and what purpose they serve. The purpose here is to answer that question in regards to vitamin B5. The Purpose Of Vitamin B5 You could call vitamin B5 the “energy vitamin” as its primary purpose is to aid in the conversion of fats and carbohydrates into energy. There is an ancillary effect that derives from this and that is the fact that the conversion to energy can aid in the reversal of stress and depression within reason. Please pay particular attention to the words “within reason”. Far too many people looking for the magic weight loss pill will hear “conversion of fats and carbohydrates” and believe that vitamin B5 will attack stored fat like acid and melt it all away.

Hence, if one eat six Big Macs and takes a dose of vitamin B5 supplement there will be no weight gain. This is an absurd notion and the truth of the matter is that this vitamin, like any other vitamin, is effective when used as a supplement as it will aid the body in its normal functioning. It is not and will never be a magic pill. Of course, if you do take this vitamin – or any vitamin for that matter – you will receive a host of positive benefits, but these benefits will be within reason and not in the form of magical, mythical dietary result. The work, but they work within the realm of reality and that is not a bad thing.
