Vitamin E Has Antioxidant Properties And Benefits You In Many Other Ways As Well

Vitamin E can be dissolved in fat and it has the properties of being an antioxidant which will put an end to any free radicals that would otherwise have damaged and also impaired the body’s immune system, and another use of vitamin E is that it can protect you from the damage that ultraviolet rays can do to the cell structure of your skin and that is a major reason why most skin care items have a lot of this vitamin in them. Helps Against Prostate Cancer And More Vitamin E can also benefit your bladder and it also helps against prostate cancer and even heart disease while another use for it is to protect from Alzheimer’s disease. You can find vitamin E easily as it is present in almost all green leafy vegetables, nuts, and fish and wheat germs as well as in whole grains and in a number of different vegetable oils.

You can also use vitamin E supplements that can be taken as pills or even drunk in liquid form though before taking this option you should have sought the advice of your doctor. In any case, you must follow the recommended dietary allowance or RDA which can differ from persons of different ages and sexes, and the health of a person also depends on the diet he or she takes and which should be accompanied by a proper lifestyle. Another feature of vitamin E is that it is not at all very toxic and this leads to very few instances of overdoses occurring from the diet that you consume; though, if you were to take more than three thousand IU from vitamin E supplements, you could cause toxicity from vitamin E and then certain symptoms would appear including intestinal cramps, diarrhea and also double vision as too fatigue and even weakness in the muscles.

If you take vitamin E, there is another aspect to it and that is it causes the depletion of vitamin K that may further cause problems of clotting, and so to prevent depletion of vitamin K, it is recommended that you should keep the maximum limit of vitamin E to one thousand IU on a daily basis. Finally, vitamin E must also be taken along with C, B3 as well as with selenium and glutathione in order for the vitamin to stay active and because this vitamin is in reality a group of nutrients it may be better to use supplements that can combine all of its usable forms rather than just a single one.
